Birgitta has 30 years of experience in the fitness industry (classes, corporate programming, gym design, health cub management, public speaking, personal training), and works with a high end & celebrity clientele of expectant mothers in Beverly Hills as well as European Royalty. 19 years ago, thanks to a pregnant client, Birgitta saw the need for the untapped and underserved prenatal market. She trained under John F. Kerin M.D. F.A.C.O.G. professor/director of OB/Gyn Cedars Sinai, and UCLA both in Los Angeles CA, briefly with Jeffrey Greenspoon, F.A.C.O.G., F.A.C.P., C.D.E. Realizing the need for serious insightful information for “new-moms-to-be” on how to safely exercise during pregnancy, based on a thorough understanding of the biomechanical and kinesiological changes in a pregnant woman’s body, Birgitta collaborated with top international medical experts and authored the book Expecting Fitness. EF won the coveted iParenting Media Award in 2007. Birgitta also writes, is and has been featured in numerous maternity, baby, fitness, health and celebrity magazines, TV shows, news etc.....

INVENTIONS for MOMS
In her quest to relieve moms of pregnancy aches and pains, Birgitta invented a new exercise; the Lauren Rotation™ that eliminates hip and low back pain by rebuilding the vertebrae facets and improving strength, flexibility and ROM, recommended by spinal surgeon David Sibley M.D.
With her passion for helping moms have healthier babies, and a penchant for quality and natural products, when Birgitta couldn’t find a natural and great quality prenatal vitamin for her many clients, she collaborated with a nutritionist/biochemist Jem Welsh, to formulate the ultimate in prenatal supplements. Nutrition being the most integral part for a healthier baby, the HEALTHY BABY Complete Prenatal vitamins was born, with more products in pipe-line to help moms prevent problems and have healthier babies.
